The construction of the APP (China) plantation can be traced back to 1995. In the past 26 years, it has accumulated significant resource advantages, experience advantages, and first-mover advantages in the process of continuous expansion of scale, innovation of forest management models, and exploration of standardized forest management. As of 2020, APP (China) has accumulated nearly 270,000 hectares of self-operated forest land, which has absorbed approximately 42.3951 million tons of carbon dioxide.
APP (China) Forestry Technology Research and Development Center is a professional department that solves the problems that occurred in the forestry management process in the past, promotes the sustainable development of forestry, and implements digital forestry and mechanical forestry to cope with the new goal of "dual carbon". In order to continuously optimize the forest management model and solve the extensive pain points, the technology center began to work hard in the three major areas of science and technology, refined management, and business philosophy. On the one hand, the technology center strengthens the cooperation between science and technology enterprises, introduces the technical strength of scientific research institutes, colleges and universities, and advanced enterprises to jointly carry out technical research, and specially establishes an expert steering committee of 11 people, adopts a tutorial system, and is based on multiple dimensions. Guide technical production; on the other hand, improve and perfect the SOP system, customize localized standards according to the differences in climate and soil in different regions, and promote refined management; in addition, focus on result orientation and clarify the goals and concepts of the technology center-in order to solve production Among the technical issues, focus on the core issues, such as the wind resistance system in Hainan and the branching of eucalyptus trees in Guangdong, so as to improve work efficiency.
Forests are the core force in creating carbon sinks, but due to policy restrictions, the scale of self-operated forest land cannot be expanded indefinitely. In addition to expanding the carbon source, it is also necessary to find ways to increase the unit yield of forest land. Based on the “dual carbon” goal set by the country, the forestry team has customized a carbon-neutral strategy for APP (China) and will inject more forestry technology and scientific research capabilities to continuously improve unit yield per mu and carbon storage capacity per unit, To increase forest storage and carbon storage, make full use of existing resources, and promote the development of the group's business.
