Based on the latest sales price estimates, the market is worth more than $53 billion in 2022, an increase of more than 12% from the $47 billion in 2021.
Medium-term growth forecasts for the folding box board to a global consumption of almost 70 million tons by 2028, worth almost $215 billion at constant 2022 prices. African markets had the highest growth rates but from a low base, while Asian markets had moderate growth rates over the period from a higher starting point.
