EPP completely solves this defect in this respect, not only is it environmentally friendly, but also its price is lower than that of PLA.
“Plastic Free” Environment Friendly Cupstock: EPP, the board comes with moisture proof and barrier properties, suitable for making all kinds of paper cup, paper bowl, lunch box, soup bowl and other take-out catering packaging. It is coated with environmentally friendly polymer, providing good barrier properties and heat seal-ability. Without PE coating process, the board can be directly contacted into catering packaging, improving production efficiency and reduce overall costs.
EPP plastic-free coated paper can ensure that pure coffee, hot water, tea, Sprite, cola, etc. do not leak for more than 2 hours, and achieve 12-level oil-proof effect, but it cannot hold liquor and other alcohol-containing liquids. And It will be prone to paper sticking due to moisture. The storage environment should be well ventilated and dry, avoiding high temperature and high humidity.
"Plastic Free" Environment Friendly Coated Food Grade Board: OPB, Using graphene based polymer nanocomposites as barrier. The unique molecular structure and flexible sheet structure form a dense coating on the surface of the paper, giving OPB ultra strong resistance to grease penetration. The topside meets the requirements of fine printing, and the back coating provide grease barrier functionality. The paper itself has high bulk.high stiffness,high water resistance, lt is fully bio degradable,recyclable (repulpable),compostable, safe and environmentally friendly. Suitable for box, tray for dry food, fresh food, pet food, light bakeries.
